The journal Translation Studies has just published a special issue on indirect translation (2017, 10:2), edited by Alexandra Assis Rosa, Hanna Pięta and Rita Bueno Maia. It includes my review of Geneviève Roche’s book Les traductions-relais en Allemagne au XVIIIe siècle. Des lettres aux sciences [Relay translation in Germany in the 18th century: from literature to science], amply providing with food for thought on the productive potential of indirect translation.
